Day 13 Burgos Bonus (Bob)
After our 7-hour slog in the rain, we checked into our hotel room and ran some errands—a trip to the pharmacy to buy more medical supplies, a laundromat run, and a supermarket run for the frequent occasion when we can’t buy a timely meal.
We got the errands done quickly, and it finally stopped raining, so we decided to venture out and go see Burgos. I’m glad we did. The architecture was amazing—especially the gothic cathedral in old town. We saw signs for a castle up on a hill, so we decided it was worth the strain on our legs to see a Spanish castle. The castle was only so-so, but the setting sun made the views from the top of the hills stunning. Some of the pictures look fake.
When we were done hiking around, we had another delicious dinner at a tapas restaurant.
Here’s a bonus picture.
